The Harford Ski Club is participating in the Eastern Pennsylvania Ski Council's Winter Carnival in Steamboat Springs, CO.
This will be the primary trip for the 2024-2025 season. This may be the club's only option for a condo trip to Steamboat in the near future.
Although this trip is more than a year away, we have to put down a deposit with the tour operator by mid-January 2024.
Consequently, we are asking for your commitment much earlier than normal. Specifically, if you wish to reserve a spot on the trip, we require you mail in a $100 deposit per person and a trip application not later than January 5th, 2024, for those not living in Harford County, and January 10th, 2024, for those living in Harford County, MD. However, if you are going to attend the club meeting on January 11th, you may bring a check and trip application to that meeting.
If we have sufficient applications, we will make the reservation with the tour operator. If not, we will return your money. However, if we make the reservation, and then cancel for some reason before March 15th, 2024 we will only be able to return half of your initial deposit, since the airfare portion of the deposit is non-refundable. The second payment of $500 will be due on March 15th and normal club refund policies apply at that point.

- 5 day Lifts – IKON Pass holders deduct $590

- Activities: Welcome Reception, Apres Ski Party, Club Race, Themed Gala & more!
Note:
*Air is estimated on Southwest at $450 from BWI/HDN (subject to change) in the package price. Please note that this is a Council trip and many people will be travelling to Hayden at the same time from the Baltimore/Philadelphia area, therefore the availability of airline seats outside the club packages may be very limited.
You will receive a unique URL to book IKON passes for 2025 at a later date. Prices for additional ski days TBD.
Lodging Options: Two Bedroom Condominiums at:
- Trappeurs Lodge (2-3 minute shuttle ride to the slopes / 7-10 minute walk) or
- Bronze Tree (ski-in/short walk-out)
Space at the Bronze Tree Lodge is limited. The trip leader will assign lodging based on availability at the time we make the actual deposit.
